The only easy day, was yesterday… Before “Surviving the Cut”, there was Hellweek PT™!
But before Hellweek PT™ was created, it’s founder and owner went through a new transformation prior to launching what has become a widely appreciated fantastic experience of Military Ethos, Discipline and Authenticity.
The Discovery Channel has been airing a series with the last while called “Surviving the Cut”, about US Special Forces Schools and the Selection processes by which their candidates for specialist roles are chosen.
Hellweek PT™ was set up back in 2009 based on the founder’s own experiences and his own journey, from putting himself through most of the BUD/S syllabus to revisiting Commando and CSAR Selection from many, many moons ago.
The reason was a much needed kick up the proverbial to get himself back in shape, but not physically as much mentally! LT needed motivation of a kind that just can’t be found anywhere else but within the cadre of Military Training.
Reliving this ethos and discipline inspired him to create the Events Company known as Hellweek PT™, running Military Themed Challenges of varying style, duration and nature in County Meath.
Since launching in July 2010, the venture has over 700 followers on Facebook but only 1/3 of that number has actually experienced that base challenge of the company –Selection!
Six classes prior to 20th November 2011 have experienced the journey that takes you from your current mindset to an unbeatable state of mind that makes you a formidable force for anyone or anything.
For four hours, Class 007 currently numbering 60 candidates, will battle the elements, cold water, physical exhaustion and their own fears and doubts to see can they complete Hellweek PT™’s Selection Challenge.
It is an experience that can only be understood once lived. Leaders will be born, the weak will become the strong and the meagre more than adequate. Not only this, people will become one unit with strangers that they have never met before, in just four short hours. They will undergo the most insane yet logical tests of human endeavour that will change their attitudes to life forever!
From inspiring young men and women to take on their first Marathon to inspiring others to live up to their ultimate potential, Hellweek PT™’s Selection Challenge gives you an authentic experience of what it means to in the same league as the “Elite”!
Repeat candidates coming back for 2nd and 3rd helpings of this challenge make it clear that they just can’t get anything like it elsewhere, some may come close, but the delivery of this challenge is what makes it unique.
