Making The Most of Your Race Listing on RunIreland.com

Listing your event on RunIreland.com has many benefits including exposure to a wide range of engaged followers and fans of running, jogging, adventure racing, triathletes and obstacle course enthusiasts.

To make the most of your listing we suggest you include as much information as possible within each section of the submission form below. Within the event description section be sure to include as much information as possible so people can make an informed decision about your event.

Suggested Information

  • Who is hosting / organising the event, who will the event benefit?
  • What does the event entail, is it suitable for walkers, joggers, experienced athletes and participants, is there a fun or kids element to it?
  • When does it take place, what time is registration/ packet pick up on race day,
  • Where does it take place, is the course flat, fast, hilly, off-road, coastal,  undulating or has it PB potential?
  • How can people register?  Include a booking link to your online registration platform, if you don’t have this sorted yet be sure to tick the njuko box below to hear from our partners njuko.com. This epic adventure involves racers running and cycling through the Wicklow Mountains National Park and Glendalough Valley as well as kayaking across the spectacular Upper Lake and finishing the race in the shadows of the monastic round tower which epitomises the Glendalough area. A wonderful event for the family catering for all levels of walkers, joggers and runners.

Race Registration on the day available at Belcarra Community Centre. The Community Centre is located across the road from the church. This will be signposted from all approaches to the village. The race starts at 12 noon. Ample parking facilities in the surrounding area.

This year’s event is sponsored again by the local businesses in the area. Any profits from the race go to the Belcarra Community Recreational Park & Playground Development Fund.

Prizegiving and the legendary local refreshments will be available in Belcarra Community Centre.

Tralee Marathon 2020

The Tralee Marathon will take place on Saturday 11th April 2020, it will be a stand alone 26.2 Mile event. The route will be the original 2013 route (Tralee, Ardfert, Fenit, Spa, Tralee). The Race Director will be Jim McNeice. The Marathon will start at 9am on the 11th April. It will start outside the Aqua Dome, heading to Ardfert, Barrow, and then onto Fenit, after which the route heads back to Tralee via the Spa, the Kerries, and Blennerville.…
