Do I need a permit to hold my event?

If you are an AAI Club or wish to host an AAI approved event you will need to apply for a permit you can contact AAI HERE

Where can I get Insurance?

If you are an Athletics Association of Ireland (AAI) member, you can get a discount on the price of insurance. Log on to www.athleticsireland.ie for more information.

Does my course have to be measured?

If it is an AAI event, your route must be measured by an approved AAI Course Measurer Details can be found HERE

How can I create a route map for my race?

How do I set up online registration for my race?

Where can I get race numbers?

We use Titan Sports for our race numbers

Where can I get T-shirts printed?

For our own events, we use Advertees in Galway. You can probably also find a similar company in your own area.

Where can I source a timing company?

We use Red Tag Timing for our events.

Can you recommend any water supplier?

We use Galway Water, you may wish to source a supplier nearer to your event.

Can you recommend a portaloo supplier?

For our own events, we use Walsh Waste, you may wish to source a supplier nearer to your event.

Can you recommend medical support/ First aid cover?

We use the Order of Malta for most of our events across the country.

Can you provide a finish line?

Yes. We charge €350 plus mileage: This includes setting up and dismantling the finish line -and we can help at the finish area during the [email protected] for more info
