To make the most of your listing we suggest you include as much information as possible within each section of the submission form below. Within the event description section be sure to include as much information as possible so people can make an informed decision about your event.

Suggested Information

  • Who is hosting / organising the event, who will the event benefit?
  • What does the event entail, is it suitable for walkers, joggers, experienced athletes and participants, is there a fun or kids element to it?
  • When does it take place, what time is registration/ packet pick up on race day,
  • Where does it take place, is the course flat, fast, hilly, off-road, coastal,  undulating or has it PB potential?

July 7th from 8.30am – 10.30am

The 10k Route is a timed run and starts at the Church. The first stretch takes the participant in the direction of the village turning right before the village with a lap of the harbour. In the village the route takes a right turn following the R352 to the Clonolia Junction just over 3.5km outside the village. The route takes a left at the Clonolia Junction followed by another left and then a right onto the Derrycon Route. At the 6km mark the route takes a left turn and it is a straight run back towards the village reaching the village at the 8.75km Mark. The final stage is down the hill around the harbour turning left onto the R352 finishing at the traffic lights at the 10k Mark.

The 5.4k Route is a timed run and starts at the church. The first stretch takes the participant in the direction of the village turning right before the village with a lap of the harbour. In the village the route takes a left turn following the R352 to the Woodpark Junction just over 3.5km outside the village. Turning right the route continues through Woodpark Forest Park. At the Woodpark Forest Park exit the route takes a right turn finishing back at the school traffic lights at the 5.4k Mark.
