RACE PACK COLLECTION: Friday 19th August, 7:30PM-9:00PM AND Saturday 20th August, 8:15AM-9:00AM (Strictly) at Lees Rd.. There will be a limited amount of new race registrations permitted at these times.
The ENNIS TRACK A.C. 5 Mile race takes place on the 20th August at 1000Hrs. The race is AAI approved and the course is accurately measured (Jones Counter). HQ for the race will be at Lees Road amenity park where timing chips/numbers and race packs can be collected.There will be a short warm up jog from the gates of Lees Road at 0945Hrs to the start line at Drumcliffe. The route will take participants on a looped run into the countryside before returning to the finish line at the gates of Lees Road.
The race will be chip timed by Timing Solutions Ireland (www.timingsolutionsireland.com). The course will be stewarded with water stops along the way. The roads will NOT be closed for this event but for the most part the course is along quiet country roads.
There will be no parking available at the start line in Drumcliffe so all participants are asked to park at Lees Road where the race will finish.
ALL PARTICIPANTS ARE REMINDED THAT THE EVENT WILL START FROM THE MAIN GATES OF LEES ROAD AT 0945HRs WITH A WARM UP JOG TO THE STARTING LINE AT DRUMCLIFFE WHERE THE RACE WILL START AT 1000HRs.
