Charity run, walk, for individuals or family groups to support local area charity located 5km south of Ardee, 2km from N2.
Smarmore and District Community Alert Group are pleased to launch their inaugural Fun Run. The event takes place at Ballapousta, Ardee Co. Louth on Sunday 4th May 2014 at 12.00pm mid-day. The course is approximately 6 km in length and the event is open to all comers. Registration starts at 11.00am. Families are encouraged to take part with entry fee of €5 per individual and €10 per family. This is a family fun run on public roads and is not chipped. The course will be marshalled and a water station at half-way included. Some light refreshments at the end and a raffle for all entrants will also take place.
Directions; off N2 at Junction immediately south of Travellers Rest roadhouse between Ardee and Collon, take side-road at 90 degrees to N2 sign-posted for Ballapousta. Parking available at the local church.
