The 4th annual Sligo Coast to Coast 10mile run/jog /walk organized by Sligo AC is back on Sunday September 25th 2016 with sponsors Call of the Wild. This unique road race is a Point to Point event encapsulating some of the most beautiful sights along the Wild Atlantic way coastline. These events are AAI Approved and accurately measured.
10 mile event details and schedule;
Over 18 only:

The event starts in Strandhill village and finishes 10 miles later on the Prom in Rosses Point village.
10 mile Walk starts @ 11.am (walkers only)
10 mile Run/Jog starts @ 12noon.
Individual entry costs; – Early registration avails of the reduced price of €20 pp until August 31st 2016 (€25 thereafter).

We are offering technical t-shirts to the first 300 registrations – ONLY!
Sligo Coast to Coast medals for all finishers.
Entrants must collect their Race number, Chip + T-shirt (if eligible) in Sligo Yacht Club on Saturday 24th September from 6pm-8pm or Sunday 25th September between 9am -10.30am. Entries will also be accepted at these times.
For entrants who require a lift to the start line, a free shuttle bus will run from Sligo Yacht club to Sligo rugby Club in Strandhill between 9am-10.30am on Sunday morning.
We will accept items of clothing form participants in Sligo Rugby club until 15 minutes before the event start. These will be bagged, tagged with your race number and transferred to Sligo Yacht club for post-race collection (no valuables accepted i.e., watches rings, keys)

The Sligo Coast to Coast 5k in the picturesque village of Rosses Point is an out and back course with one water station.
Entry €15 over 16 & €10 Under 16 including a Finishers medal and chip timing by Core timing.

Race number & Chip collection – Sligo Yacht Club Saturday 24th September 6pm-8pm & Sunday 25th September 9am -10.30am. Entries will be accepted at these times also.
Please note starting line is 10 mins walk from the registration area. Guided warm up (stretching + light jog at 11am at Yacht club)
5KM Race starts at 11.30am sharp.
