The Slighle Dhala 6 km run or walk.
Five high roads reputely emnated from Tara in ancient times, one of which was the Slighle Dhala. The road linked west Munster with Tara and passed close to the village of Ballaghmore on the Laois/Tipperary/Offaly border, the venue for this 6 km run or walk.
The circuit will start from the scenic village of Ballaghmore and finish at Kyle’s GAA Clubhouse. There will be a number of prizes for the road run. Refreshments will be provided at the end of the run and walk.
The event is being run as a fundraiser for Kyle GAA Club and entry is only €10 for a couple hours of enjoyment. For those wishing to get sponsorship, sponsorship cards are available from either John Paul or David
