SLOT at are holding there annual 5k or 10k run on March 15th. Everybody is invited to run, jog or walk on the day. What better way to enjoy St Patricks weekend with the whole family. The run always proves to be an enjoyable event with over 500 runners participating over the last few years. Many prizes will be given on the day for those competitive leaders and many spot prizes for the fun runners of the group. All funds raised on the day will go to Special Olympics Carlow and SLOT athletics club. Two new routes are organised for this year’s event both of which are flat and ideal for those who want to achieve a pb. The run will be starting and finishing on the track.
