About This Activity
Over 200 runners are expected to turn out on 24 June, starting and finishing at Ransboro National School.
Traditionally a 10km race, this year there will also be a 5km alternative to cater for the large number of new runners taking part.
This fantastic event, which has been hugely successful over the last number of years. The Sligo,
2016/17 and the Ransboro Race will provide much needed funds for this worthy cause.”
The Annual Road Race which takes place the last Saturday 24th of June @5.30pm .
Starting and finishing at Ransboro Church its route takes in the beautiful views of Knocknarea and Ballisadare Bay.Nestled under the southern flank of Knocknarae , the picturesque course winds its way through quiet country backroads. The undulating course is ideal preparation for the Warriors Run in August.
