NUI Galway, Irelands leading University in association with the Kingfisher Club is delighted to announce the launch of the third charity 8K on Saturday 24th September at 10am. This is a spectacular Run, Jog or Walk around the University Campus along the banks of the river Corrib. The official charity partner for this event is Jigsaw Galway. Jigsaw Galway is a free and confidential support service for young people, their mental health and wellbeing, aged 15 – 25 living in Galway city and county. All funds raised from this event will go to Jigsaw Galway. This event is open to everyone, with runners and walkers of all fitness levels catered for.
