This is is the 8th "Run for Ollie" run in the beautiful surroundings of Milltown in Co. Galway. The run is in aid of Ollie Burke, a 40yr old electrician who fell from a height and suffered an Acquired Brain Injury and now requires 24hr care. The Run is officially measured and chipped timed.The couses is mostly flat, run on country roads with a great atmosphere. All participants will receive a Technical Running t-shirt and Medal.
We have full changing,showering and free parking facilities available to all. Registration will take place in the Milltown Community Centre from 6pm-9pm on Friday 9th June and from 11am-2.30pm on Sat 10th June where you can pick up your race packs.
The Km’s are clearly marked and we have 3 water stations on the route. Everybody gets a bottle of water post the event and all are welcome to post event refreshments in Sherdians Lounge.
