The Abbey 8Km Road Race takes place around the Village of Abbey, Loughrea. It will be chip timed again this year and all race entrants will get the Abbey 8KM Tech T Shirt. Last year we changed the route to a flatter 8Km course and it proved a great success. The race this year will be on the same Route, starting and finishing in the Village, close to the Community Centre. Registration will take place in the Community Centre on morning of the race from 10am to 11.30am. There are toilets and a bag drop in the Community Centre. Parking is very close by. All funds raised to the up keep of the Community and the Abbey Scouts.
