The Tullamore 10K mini marathon which takes place on the August Bank Holiday Monday at 12 Noon from Covidien which is located in the I.D.A. Business Park, Sragh Road, Tullamore will be started off by the renowned Olympian and twice Dublin Marathon winner Jerry Kiernan. This event is hosted by the Carers Association and affords all local charities an opportunity to raise much needed funds. The registration fee is only €15 and everyone will receive a medal along with a well deserved cuppa tea/coffee and sandwich courtesy of Covidien Tullamore. Fantastic prizes will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd person over the line along with the 1st, 2nd and 3rd female and 1st Wheelchair User. Prizes will also be awarded to the most senior and junior athletes. This promises to be a fun family day out and also one of the highlights of the sporting calendar of the year in Tullamore. Come out and get a chance to run with Jerry Kiernan along with supporting local charities in Offaly.
