The race will take place on Sunday August 3rd. The Race Start Time will be confirmed in the early part of the new year – but it will start early Sunday morning. The race will features a similar course to 2013, with some changes to the Run Route expected so we can ensure precise run distances.
The stunning backdrop of Lough Ree is not just used for the swim route, but participants also circumnavigate the Lake on the Bike Route through Counties Westmeath, Longford and Roscommon. Come to Athlone, enjoy the challenge of the event, and stay the night for the single biggest annual party in the Midlands!
