None HiElbow Triathlon Club are pleased to announce the opening of registration for the 2008 Lough Neagh Triathlon. Registration is open for a maximum 380 individual entries and 20 relay entries. This event is on closed roads in a non-drafting race format. This year we are delighted to welcome Richard Allen to our event. Richard will be with us all day hosting a number of sessions.
Ballyronan Marina
Ballyronan Marina is a superb natural setting for Triathlon and with a course designed for spectators, friends and family can cheer on competitors at every opportunity. Spectators can walk along the Marina breakwater and watch the whole swim from a close distance; they can also watch the cycle and run from the main street in Ballyronan. For competitors the marina building has changing facilities with showers available both in the marina building and adjacent caravan park. Ballyronan Marina is well equipped for all your needs. The large marina building includes a restaurant, shop selling soft drinks and confectionery, a small beach area, playground and signed walk around the local area.
