First run in 2008, the Clifden Lifeboat 10k Run has become a popular event in the Irish running calendar. With the race route overlooking Clifden Bay and the Atlantic Ocean, this unique event provides participants with an experience few can match.
The community spirit, friendly atmosphere and spectacular views from the Sky Road, ensures that all participants finish with a fantastic sense of achievement.Runners and walkers from Ireland and abroad of all abilities, join on the day to challenge themselves and each other and support a very worthy cause, with all proceeds going to the Clifden RNLI. Teams are welcome to participate in the event. AAI permit applied for and medals for all finishers.
