Nippy Sippy – The Sippy Cup for Runners

0

Race Organiser Eoin Ryan believes he has solved the age old global problem participants experience from drinking out of cups of water. ‘Most races abroad don’t have 250ml bottles so the cup is still the most used vessel by far’ says Eoin. He has designed a lid called the nippysippy to cover the cup. More than that he has designed a lid specifically with runners and race organisers in mind.

For the runner you can run and sip without the water going up your nose or down your top. The spout protrudes so it is easy to locate it with your lips while running. There is a nose grove so your won’t run into the back of someone when finishing the contents of the cup.

For race organisers the lid inter stacks so that instead of using 3 tables to place the cups on – you only need one. Also there is a finger groove for the aid station worker to hold the cup. This is more hygenic as now there are no fingers in contact with the water when handing out cups. Lastly most water stations have minors helping out. It is very easy for them or anyone to put the lid on the cup.

Eoin is crowdfunding to get the project off the ground. We wish him luck. Check it all out HERE
