The first running of the Monaghan 10 Miler will take place on Sunday 24th July at 12:30pm. The race is organised by Monaghan Phoenix Athletic Club, and supported by Monaghan County Council and the HSE.

Entry fee is €15 for the 10 miler, and €8 for the fun run (Enter the fun run on the day).
This is the first running of the event, so we are unsure of numbers, but we are getting a lot of interest in the event.
The event is part sponsored by the Four Seasons Hotel, and first prize in both the mens and womens event is 2 nights Bed and Breakfast, plus and evening meal in either their Monaghan or Carlingford Hotel. There will be cash prizes for 2nd and 3rd, and also cash prizes in the masters catagories.
