- When does it take place, what time is registration/ packet pick up on race day,
- Where does it take place, is the course flat, fast, hilly, off-road, coastal, undulating or has it PB potential?

Fitzers 5k Run / Walk 2023

All revenue raised from this event will go directly to the Maria Goretti Children’s Respite and Rehab Care Adult Services in Dundalk.
The 10th annual Fitzers 5K Fun Run and Walk takes place once more on Saturday February 25th at 11am from the Marshes SC, Dundalk, Co Louth. This is the tenth renewal of the event that was inaugurated by Deputy Peter Fitzpatrick as a means of helping local organisations providing vital services.
The beneficiaries this year will be Maria Goretti Children’s Respite and RehabCare Adult Services.
The Maria Goretti Foundation is a registered charity and is committed to the support of children with disabilities. The centre at Lordship, Co. Louth is currently a purpose built six bed-roomed facility that operates under the auspices of the HSE and is currently managed by Rehab Care.
The Maria Goretti Children’s Respite provides residential respite to 80 families who have children with Autism, Learning Disability, or a Physical Disability between the ages of 6-18. The RehabCare Resource Centres in Dundalk provide a day service to adults with Autism, Learning Disability, or a Physical Disability.
