Half on the Head (Kerryhead Half Marathon and 10k)
When: June 13th 2020 at 11:00 am
Where: Kerry
The Half on the Head follows a wonderfully scenic course from Ballyheigue Village right around the Kerryhead loop before ending up back at the start point. The 13.1 mile run takes you along one of the most unspoilt portions of the Wild Atlantic Way. Run beside the Shannon Estuary with views across the river mouth to the coast of Clare. Glancing back you will see the rugged Kerry coastline stretching to the town of Ballybunion. You might even catch a glimpse of the fabled Cliffs of Dooneen. Upon rounding the point of Kerryhead you will experience the magnificent panorama of Tralee Bay with Mount Brandon and the Maherees as a backdrop. Further along you have stunning views of the coastline stretching from Ballyheigue beach to Banna and Fenit with Blennerville Windmill in the distance. The first half of the course meanders gradually uphill before levelling out at the point of Kerryhead and then beginning a steeper decent back towards the village.
Run Conahy 5k & 10K
When: September 27th 2020 at 12.00pm
Where: Kilkenny
Run Conahy is set amongst beautiful scenery and undulating hills. It aims to challenge runners along the 10K route. The event has proven to be very popular over the years with its friendly atmosphere and unique setting. The 5K fun run/walk is a great way to soak up some scenery on a shorter route.
Whatever you choose, the question is ‘Can you Conquer Conahy?’

Wine on the Line 5K & 10K Mother’s Day Run
When: 22nd March 2020
Where: Kildare
The return of the incredibly popular Wine on the Line 5k & 10k race to the running calendar for Mother’s Day Sunday 22nd March 2020.
Prizes include 1st & 2nd Male and Female over each distance, First Female and Male Child in the 5K, Race will start at 11am Sharp, Bespoke medal for all finishers, Full 750ML bottle of red or white wine for those who choose the wine option.

Paddy Run/Walk

The 2nd annual Paddy Run will take place in Emerald’s GAA, Urlingford, Co. Kilkenny. There will be a 5km and 10km route. Bespoke medals for all finishers. There will be a family 5km option.

Lough Cutra Castle in Gort is the backdrop to this action-packed weekend of triathlon, swim and run racing in Gort, Co. Galway. This first race of the Castle Triathlon series in 2020 sets the scene for a competitive and fun series, hosted within the beautiful grounds of the Castle and surrounding area of stunning South Galway.
