Yoga for Runners Workshop with Heidi

If you missed last year’s workshop or wish to refresh, this workshop will be a great benefit for all runners/joggers and even walkers.
Right in the middle of ‘running season’ it is an especially important time to be mindful of staying injury free.

The workshop is aimed at runners (both casual and competing) and how yoga can benefit them.
We will explore how yoga can help injury prevention for runners as well as target specific areas where runners are tight and injury-prone.We will also look at how yoga can help de-stress and relax in preparation for an event and also recovery.You will also be provided with a hand-out of stretches to keep for future reference.Absolutely no yoga experience required, but workshop will also benefit experienced yogis!

Don’t forget to tell the runners/joggers in your life about the benefits of this workshop (who knows, it make turn them on to yoga too!).
Wear loose, comfortable clothing and bring yoga mat if you have one – alternatively one can be rented or purchased at YogaVillage.
