Christmas is coming and the Goose is getting FIT! Westerns GFC together with Ardee Hospice Homecare are delighted to announce the 4th annual Wild Goose Chase! This event which is becoming widely recognised as the best way to get fit for Christmas will take place on Sunday the 22nd November at 1.30pm in the beautiful countryside around Reaghstown. Located between Ardee and Carrickmacross just off the main Dublin to Derry road, Reaghstown boasts some of the finest scenery and historical sites in Louth. Come and run, jog, walk or crawl in this family friendly fun event with a choice of either a 10k or 5k routes. All levels of entrants are welcome, whether it’s your 1st or your 50th! Costs: 10K – EU20 / 5K – EU15 Under 16: EU5 (register on day) Professionally chip timed for those who wish to avail of it. We’ll have medals for all finishers and 1st and 2nd prizes in the Men and Women categories (both open and veteran) for 10k and 5k routes. And…because we’re too good to you all, the first 300 to register will receive a specially printed technical running t-shirt. With refreshments and music afterwards in Dooley’s, this will be a fun event for all. NOTE – Registration closes on the day at 1pm and the race starts at 1.30pm SHARP.
