Wicklow town Half marathon or 10km is the perfect target for starting the new season of running/ walking. It is only a 40mins drive from Dublin to get to this scenic, coastal and atmospheric race. This will be the 6th year of this growing race with over 1,500 expected to toe the start line in 2015. The race starts and finishes in the unique setting of Wicklow’s Historic Gaol.
The course has a mix of Town, harbour, countryside and coast. It has been described as one of the most scenic races without having to drive across the country. Wicklow has a lot to offer – ask anyone who has done it.
