Wexford Half Marathon & 10km is now open for the 21st April. In conjunction with DMP AC Wexford.
2012 saw the introduction of this fast and flat 10km course. We were expecting fast times and the stats from the survey post race say it all. 68% of the participants achieved a PB on the course. This is amazing for the 10km distance which is one of the more common races around Ireland.
Wexford is the PB course! On the same course used by the Half marathon a Guinness World record was achieved in retro running. And 80% of the Half marathon participants achieved a PB. Super running and plenty more of that to come. If you want a PB come to Wexford town….
The New finish area in the Faythe went down really well and in 2013 we will have the post race soup & roll at the finish line adding to the atmosphere.
We have a new EARLY BIRD offer for the 10km. €20 until the 31st Jan. This includes bottled water on the course. A tech training top. A medal. Post race refreshments. A shower. Timing chip. After this it goes to €25.
