The West of Ireland marathon on July 28th will take place in Killeigh, Co. Offaly.
Killeigh is located on the N80 between Portlaoise and Tullamore (Tullamore 10 mins, Portlaoise 25 mins.)
Parking/Race start will be at Langton’s Cafe / Killeigh GAA grounds.
For Race start,if travelling from Tullamore, take a left at the (only) lights in the village. Vice versa if travelling from Portlaoise.
Meet at 8.30 for 9.a.m. start.
The Club A.G.M. will take place after the race in Langtons restaurant.
The race will consist of almost six loops of almost 4.5 miles. Note that there will be a short (500m downhill) walk from the finish line to the start area.
There will be one water stop out on the route,the loop will also bring you through the start area,where supplies can be left.
