Silver for Kelly Proper at UK championships (AAI website) Kelly Proper managed just one legal jump in the long jump final at the UK championships in Sheffield yesterday. But it was a good one though and earned the silver medal for her. And her 6.31m jump was just 1cm short of her Irish record set last weekend in Cardiff. Joe Warne had a good race to finish second in the 800m and qualify for today’s final.
In the US Ciaran O’Lionaird, just out of junior ranks, demolished his best for the 3,000m with a time of 8:04.05 at an indoor meet in Notre Dame.
