The Valentia Island Triathlon 2014 will take place Saturday 24th May, start time 13:30. This date will coincide with a ‘high tide’ giving us various options so we can virtually guarantee that you will get your feet wet!

This is a stunning location and classic early season ‘Sprint’ triathlon, that hosted the National Sprint Championships in 2012 and continues to draw top triathletes from around Ireland and overseas. The event kicks off with a swim from the mainland to the island, followed by a circumnavigation of the island on bike taking in stunning views of the Atlantic including Skellig Rocks, and lastly a technical out and back 5km run at the end. Oh, and a legendary party in The Royal afterwards… see you there!
