from Galway City Harriers If it’s a Tuesday night in May in Galway, then that can only mean another leg of the 5K race series. Some more great racing was evident on an overcast and blustery evening down Tuam way yesterday, but for all that, we’ll still happily hang on to the record of “rain never interfering with play” in terms of this particular race series. Well done to Brendan and the folks in Tuam AC for putting on another great show around their fast circuit. They’ve got all the results posted already to their club website – check it out at:

In summary, another great GCH turnout, a rampant victory for Gerry Ryan at the front of the men’s race, Regina Casey makes it two from two in the ladies’ race and a quick scan down through the full results set shows faster times for many, a mere week on from Athenry. Well done again all!
