from Limerick Athletic Club Limerick AC`s Young Athletes braved the conditions in Munster Masters & Juvenile B Cross Country Championships at Moyglass , Co. Tipperary on Sun. 29 November 2009 . Unfortunately our U9 Girls missed the start of their race but Melissa Bermingham Sheehan & Shannon Hickey battled hard and although they finished in Top 12 , they were unable to medal officially due to mishap at start .
In U11 Girls Sadhbh De Barra, just back from illness ran a great race to finish 2nd. whilst in U15 Girls , Kate Fitzgerald finished a gallant 6th. Tola Alade who has only a few months of training done , completed the course and finished 5th. overall in Boys U19 . All the Athletes who competed were hero`s as the conditions and the weather made running incredibly difficult – Many Congrats to all and special thanks to their Coaches Tom Fitzgerald, Caroline Bermingham & Mike O Brien . Keith Ryan finished 13th. overall in Masters and 6th. in M40 Section.
