Over 28 million people in the world are suffering from cancer. This is a disease that your lifestyle can greatly reduce your cancer risk factors.

For this reason alone the Deer Park Hotel Golf and Spa and healthpro: Nutrition and Exercise Specialists are teaming up for another year to host the annual Howth Peninsula Walk / Fun Run. It is our goal to get as many people out to walk / run the Howth Peninsula showing their support to Taking Steps to Reduce the Risk of Cancer. Cancer is something that affects us all so step up and step out and join our greater community in walking Howth Peninsula on Sunday October 17th 2010 at 2pm. This is a walk for everybody; families, friends, children and dogs (on a leash). Runners are welcome and a road run will commence at 3pm.

We are encouraging everybody who takes part to come and join us for the after party at the Deer Park Hotel Golf and Spa, Howth, Co. Dublin where there will be music and light refreshments.

Help us to grow this event to in excess of 500 people. This is a not for profit event and all proceeds will go to the Irish Cancer Society (Patient & Carer support).
