Summerhill is located on the Meath/Kildare border, 20 minutes from Blanchardstown, 20 minutes from Liffey Valley and 30 minutes from Mullingar. This is the sixth annual 10K and 4K Summerhill Road Race and the event attracts well in excess of 300 participants. Both races run concurrently. There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd male and female across the line in both races. The race routes are relatively flat and fast through the quiet rollling countryside of County Meath. The length of both routes is professionally measured and both races are chip timed. Tea/coffee/sandwiches are available to all participants after the race. €15 entry fee per person. Families are welcome and encouraged. Special discounted family entry fee of EU25 for 1 or 2 adults with up to 4 children – the family gets one timing chip. This rate is not available online but is available for those signing up on the day of the race. In addition, Under 16’s who do not want an individual timing chip can enter on the day for only €7.
