The annual Burke Oil Streets of Wicklow 5k will take place again on Stephens day, around Wicklow Town. Registration and race start are at the East Glendalough School (near the Wicklow train station). There will be a kids 1 mile race at 11am, and the 5k will start at 11.30 sharp. ENTRY IS ONLY 10EUROS, and you can pay on the day (no late entries etc)
The race is organized by both the Inbhear Dee athletics club, and the Wicklow Rugby club. All profits go directly back into these two clubs. The race is run under an Athletics Ireland permit, on an accurately measured 5k loop. It is open to all runners, joggers and walkers. There is always a good mix of standard, everyone is welcome!
