Following the tremendous success of last year’s race day, the Strawberry Half Marathon 2011 promises to be even better. Along with the half marathon and 15K walk around beautiful Enniscorthy, this year we are introducing a 5 mile road race. So there’s something for everyone. All finishers will receive a medal, technical T-shirt and free tea/coffee & sandwiches after the race at the Riverside Park Hotel.
And why not bring the family along again. This year a Kiddies Mini Olympics will take place on the promenade and of course the Strawberry Festival will be in full swing with lots of other activities on around the town over the weekend.
Shane will entertain us once again, providing music and atmosphere throughout the morning. Register early to secure your place.
The race is being organized in association with our athletics club, Slaney Olympic AC. As part of the Strawberry Festival it promises to be, not just a great race, but a fun day out for runners and supporters alike. We look forward to seeing you in June.
