The STONE MAD brings an exciting NEW race format to Ireland. It incorporates an over-night stay on Saturday between stages. Starting in Kildare on day one, the route meanders alongside the beautiful river Barrow on it’s journey through villages, fields and countryside.
The way is flat, with gentle off-road terrain. The Ultra will start in Athy and travel to Graignamanagh. The Full & Half will join the route after the Ultra runners have passed.
Finish day one and relax with hot showers, massage, hot food, cakes, tea & coffee. Fun and camaraderie guaranteed!
Day two introduces the STONE MAD element. It is not to be missed! After the majestic water’s edge route on day one, the going gets tougher.
