This unique, timed, road race (6km), through the Liberties, the heart of old Dublin, is one of the few road races that Dublin City Council permits. It starts and finishes in the beautiful grounds of the Irish Museum of Modern Art/Royal Hospital Kilmainham. The route will take in the include James’s Street, St. James’s Gate, St. Catherine’s Church, Thomas Street, the National College of Art and Design, Francis Street, The Coombe and the Guinness Storehouse. Cash prizes will be awarded to the first, second and third placed men and women. Limited entry. Thanks to the generosity of our main sponsors, Diageo and Momentum Support, the net entry fees (a processing fee of €1.47 will be deducted for each on-line entry) and all sponsorship raised by the Fun Run will go towards improving facilities for patients’ families at St. James’s Hospital.
