Now in its 6th year, the event on Saturday 27th August will attract thousands of entrants for both the timed 10K challenge and the 5K fun run Last year’s run was supported by over 5200 people and it raised over €130,000 towards research. This year the organisers are hoping to attract close to 6,500 runners, joggers and walkers many of whom will don elaborate pink costumes, paint their faces and run along to the music.
