The Slieve Bloom Challenge for the Friends of the Children of Chernobyl is a 10.4 mile sponsored run through the slieve bloom mountains. The route is one of the most scenic in the country!! There will be a Free T-Shirt, Massage and medal for all runners…even if they finish on their knees!!Come on and beat the bloomin mountain!!
Also on the day for those who prefer a more leisurely pace why not try a 5km sponsored fun walk??
This will all be followed by family day at kinnitty castle. There will be plenty for everyone including bouncy castles, face painting, live music, craft village, treasure hunts and kids sports day ,b.b.q etc. Special balloon release to mark the 25 year anniversary of the Chernobyl disaster.
IF all that wasnt enough THE HEINEKEN CUP WILL ALSO BE THERE!!!
