The picturesque Slane Castle, the home of Rock Concerts
Will hold it’s first ever 10mile run and 5km run. All levels of running ability welcome from runners to walkers. Children under 18 can take part in 5km run but not the 10mile.
The event will be part of the Slane Castle annual lady well fête ( www.ladywellfete.com ), where plenty of family entertainment
Will be provided on the day from music, games, food stalls etc.
Each participant will be given, goody bag, finishers medal, finishing time text to phone and T shirt. This promises to be a great family day out.
Proceeds will be donated to Crumlin childrens medical research foundation.
The event will be chip timed for 10mile race and now 5km. Both will be approved under athletics Ireland rules and permit granted. Organising athletic club is Slane AC. www.slaneac.com. Online registraion will guarantee goodie bag, medal and T- Shirt. Please note registration on the day will not gurantee goodie bag. Medal and t -shirt will be posted after event if not enough on the day. Should be ok for stock but we need to notify people.
