Event base, Sliabh Sneacht Centre at "North Pole" bar Drumfries is surrounded by an amazing natural Adventure landscape and participant will be in a true Adventure Heaven as they embrace the rugged beauty and captivating wilderness while being challenged on any of the 3 course distances.
62K Extreme Course.
This course is designed to test the experienced adventurer with finishing times ranging from 3:45 to 6:00hrs. Start from the Centre with a tough 12.5k run followed by a 2k kayak, 22k challenging on/off road cycle, 7k hike to Sliabh Sneacht summit and back and finishes with a normally easy 18.5k cycle, but with tired legs and body it still proves a challenge getting back to the Finish Line.
41K Sprint course.
This is still a decent challenge, not for the faint hearted with recorded finishing times of 2:45 to 4:30hrs. Starting with a moderate 6.5k run, 1.5k kayak then a tough 14.5k on/off road cycle before an ascending hike 70% up Sliabh Sneacht and finishing off with a 13.5k mixed terrain cycle back to the finish.
22K Mini Adventure course.
Ideal for the novice / curious Adventurer and, like the other courses, will equally challenge your ability. Starting with a stiff, mostly ascending 3k run, 3k muddy and partly ascending hike up 50% of Sliabh Sneacht, then onto the bike for a 7k on/off road cycle, 1k lake kayak and finishing with an 8k cycle to the finish.
