‘Best day of my life’ – Scullion stars in Dublin
Stephen Scullion (Clonliffe Harriers) starred at the KBC Dublin marathon with a second-place finish overall in 2:12:01 to win the national title in perfect conditions today (October 27).
Aoife Cooke (Eagle AC) ran an impressive pb of 2:32:34 (2:46:37 was her previous best in Amsterdam in 2017) to win the women’s national title. She put the result down to ‘a lot of miles, a lot of hard training.’

Ann-Marie McGlynn (Letterkenny) had to settle for second in a new PB of 2:32:54 with Gladys Ganiel (North Belfast Harriers) third in 2:36:42
