from Scariff 10K committee The 2nd Annual Scariff 10K run\walk originally scheduled to take place on Sunday 13th September will now take place on SUNDAY 27TH SEPTEMBER 2009 @ 2.00PM.
Due to the fact that the Clare U-21 Hurlers have reached the All Ireland Final, to be played on Sunday 13th, a clash of both events would seriously impact numbers participating in the 10K. The proceeds of the 10K are given to Raheen Hospice, and its success is dependant on a large field of participants. Therefore, it has been decided to reschedule the 10K to SUNDAY 27TH SEPTEMBER 2009 @ 2.00PM.
The organising committee apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and hope people will join us on the 27th for another great day out.
The annual 10K event is held in association with Clare Athletics Association & Derg Credit Union. Registration is €10 per person, closing date 18th September. Late registration will be accepted on the 27th September up to 1:30 PM at a cost of €15 per person.
The event starts at 2 PM sharp so all entrants are requested to be assembled by 1:45 PM at the Scariff GAA grounds.
Registration forms for the event can also be obtained from www.runireland.com or by emailing [email protected]. Forms can also be picked up locally at O’ Meara’s Pharmacy or Rodgers Centra shop and posted to Scariff Community Council, Market House, Scariff, Co. Clare.
