Run Kilkenny for Susie Long”, is a fund raising event being organised by Fit 4 Life, Kilkenny City Harriers.
This charity fundraising event with be held on the 4th, 5th and 6th June 2011 and all proceeds will go to the Susie Long Hospice Fund.
3 Marathons are planned over 3 days. Each marathon will be broken into two half marathons and four 10km’s, 2 walking sections are also included. All runners, joggers and walkers of all abilities are welcome to participate.
The marathons will be accurately measured
The marathons will take in the towns of Callan, Kells, Stonyford, Bennettsbridge, Thomastown, Gowran, Ballyragget and Freshford.
The Entry Fee is €100 and sponsorship cards will be available from local businesses and committee members.
Our aim is for 200 runners to take part in some or all of the routes over the 3 days. A number of runners, including some of our Fit for Life members hope to undertake the 3 full marathons.
