The RUN-Athlone 10k race will take place on Saturday the 26th April 2014 at 11.00am. Cost of entry online is €20 Entry on the day of the race is €25. The race takes place from Dubarry Park in Athlone, famous for its rugby. It’s going to be one of the most enjoyable races on the 2014 calendar. Race Chip timing for all runners, joggers and walkers alike. Free Photo of all competitors on Internet after race. All entrants will also receive a goodie bag on race day. Changing facilities and showers on site. Complimentary Refreshments after race Ideal Mini Marathon and Triathalon preparation and Cash prizes for top 3 male and female categories and also Spot prizes of Shadow gear among others for participants. You can walk, jog or run around this great course. This year’s race charity is Special Olympics Athlone, to get our athletes off to Limerick to compete in the Special Olympic Games.
