The United Striders Athletic Club in conjunction with the Wexford Local Sports Partnership and RAPID New Ross would like to invite you to enter our “Round The Houses Fun Run 2009”. The aim of this event is not to see who can complete the distance the fastest, but for everyone to try complete the distance at any pace. “Participation” is the most important aspect of this event! A significant percentage of money raised will be donated to local based charities. On the day, there will be a total of three runs. Firstly, there will be a primary school one kilometre fun run, secondly there will be a one mile secondary school fun run and finally there will be five kilometre fun run for the general populace and those with disabilities. While these events will be the focus of the event, there will also be a field day in the New Ross Town park and an variety of fringe activities for people to try out.
