The Rose of Tralee 5k and 10k runs will take place on Banna Strand, arguably one of the most beautiful beaches in Ireland. The events will take place entirely on the beach giving runners the opportunity to get off the roads and take part in a totally unique event.
Whether you’re running for the podium or just for fun, this is a great event that everyone can enjoy.
REGISTRATION TIMES
Registration will be open from 9am – 11:30am. Those wishing to register on the day should arrive at 9am promptly to avoid disappointment & delays.
EVENT START TIMES
The 10K run will start at 12 noon sharp.
The 5k run will start at 12.15pm sharp
PREE ENTRY FEES
Pre entry for both the 10k and 5k runs will be available at a discounted cost of €20.00.
Pre entry for the event closes on the 15th of August at 11:59pm
Entry on the day is also available at a cost of €30.00 for both the 10k and 5k events.
EVENT TIMING
Event timing will be provided by ChampionChip Ireland.
CHECKPOINTS
To keep you on the straight and narrow there will be checkpoints and marshalls along the way. If you need assistance, direction or just a bit of encouragement they will be there to help. They will also make sure everyone who sets off makes it home safe and sound.
SPECTATORS
Family and friends are more than welcome to come along to this event to show support for people you know. The familiar voice of someone you know can make all the difference when your legs are burning. Supporters can also add an atmosphere and additional energy to the experience for all the other participants and the crew. We will help advise spectators as to where the best locations are along the route to cheer you on.
