Dromintee Rocky Road 10K
Now in its second year, the Rocky Road 10K Challenge 5K run/walk is in honor of the late Owney Rocks
The race takes place around the roads of Dromintee and into the foothills of the picturesque Slieve Gullion Mountain on Sunday 13th of March. The course measurement complies with Athletes NI rules and registered with Athletics NI
The race will be officially chipped timed and results will be uploaded post-race.
There are prizes for all categories. The event is open to all levels of runners and walkers. Registration will be available in the club house Sunday morning from 10.30. There is plenty of parking in the club ground and there will be changing rooms, toilets, and HOT Showers at the end.
We also run a Team Challenge. The Team Challenge is a Team of 6 and all times are added at the end, fastest team wins….. Prize money £200 Please Note. A participant cannot enter as a team member if entering in the solo race.

The race will start at 12.30, close to the entrance of the GAA ground. The course is a 10km loop with a couple of testing hills thrown in for good measure. Each km will be clearly marked, with plenty of stewards to guide you around. The finish will be in the club grounds,
There will be one water point on the way around.
