Remembering Aoibhes Story:
On the 2nd of April 2008, 4yr old Aoibhe Carroll from Oranmore in Galway, died suddenly from Meningitis. Aoibhe was loved and adored by everyone that knew her. Now her parents Siobhan and Noel are trying to raise awareness of this disease, "We never thought our family would be affected by this terrible disease we were. When Aoibhe died in 2008 we were devasted, in raising funds and awareness we know we will be helping other families"
On the 11th of July they are holding the 2nd annual 5k run entitled “Remembering Aoibhe” at Renville Oranmore, kindly sponsored by Level One, serviced office space. While also raising funds for ACT for Meningitis, they are most importantly raising awareness of this life changing disease.
You can register online at www.runireland.com. Very limited registration will take place on the evening from 6.00 to 7.00pm at Renville Park, online registration is advised as this event sold out last year.
