Now in its third year the Quin School 10 km charity run or walk will take place from Quin School, Co. Clare on Sunday September 25th at noon. Set in the picturesque and historical village of Quin and its surroundings the Quin Fun Run/ Walk is a family friendly event, while suitably challenging for experienced athletes, children kids, buggies, grannies and doggies (on a lead) are welcome to join in. Shorter routes are included in the event. Entry fee for individual runners is €10 euro and family entry is €20 euro. Registration is available online and from 10.30 am in the school. Water stations will be in place throughout the course and light refreshments will be provided at the finish line. The event is followed by a Family Fun Day which takes place in the school pitch at 2 pm with lots of fun events for the whole family including bouncy castles, novelty races and a barbecue. The individual/ family entry fee will also allow free access to the Family Fun Day.
