The second Portarlington 10k road race takes place on Sunday 25th September 2011 at 10:00am in the historic town of Portarlington which straddles the River Barrow on the Laois/Offaly county boundary. The race is AAI accredited and will be chip timed.
The route will give each runner a chance to take part in great event which will challenge both elite runners and novices. The route combines town and country views and is in general a flat and fast course though the inclusion of the picturesque Corrig Hill offers the course something different.
